On page SEO factors checklist
On-page SEO (in page SEO/ compare with OFF page SEO) means optimize your web pages target the keywords.

We all know it including some factors such as choosing good title, write good meta tags.
But that is not enough, you should check all On-page SEO factors before publish a blog or article.

SEO is not just to optimized for search engine robots but also and more important is to optimized to real visitors and readers.

1. Choose Keywords target the audience

You should do some keywords researching to choose unique and suitable keywords. There are so many paid or free SEO keywords research tools.

2. Write Title including keywords

The keywords should appeared at the beginning of Title. The length of title should be bigger than 70 characters. And the meaning of the title should be relevant to the keywords.

Title is the MOST important factor in how search engines rank. The title should appear in H1 tag in body content. Some free keywords researching tools: Google AdWords Keyword Tool, Google trends, Wordtracker.

3. Write Meta description and Meta-tags

Meta description is What user see in the search engine result pages (SERPs). The length should be 120-150 characters.

This is not important to the search engine rank but VERY important to the click-through rate to your website. The meta description should be unique and avoid duplicate.

4. Make proper Headings

Headings are sub-titles different to title. Keywords should also be used in headings. Headings should be surround with H2 tag.

5. Choose URL

URL is an important factor to search rank. The keyword / phrase should appear in the URL of the web page.

6. Add some images related to your topic

Create some images or choose images for the webpage will increase the search rank. Use Alt tag with your keywords in the image tag.

7. Add outbound links related to your topic

You should add ACTIVE and relevant URL in your web page to improve this factor. Having outbound links on your website demonstrates that you are adding value for your visitors by providing them with links to additional information on your subject.

8. Keyword density 

Keyword density is important SEO factor because search engines use this to categorize the web page. If the keyword density too low you will not get the optimum benefit, but if too high your web page might get flagged for “Spam”.

9. Body content and length

The content should be unique and relevant to the keywords and title. The body length should be at least 600 words. No HTML errors. Use rich HTML tags such as b, h2, h3, img, a for the important words.
